Glossy Crayfish Snakes belong to the Genus, Regina, which are known as "crayfish" snakes because they feed mostly upon soft-shelled (recently shed) crayfish. Glossy Crayfish Snakes are slender, medium-sized snakes with a glossy appearance.
Glossy Crayfish Snakes are found in the Coastal Plain of South Carolina, usually on rainy nights.
